Fees and Insurance


I am an in-network provider with BlueCross BlueShield (including the BCBS State Employees Health Plan) and Aetna.


If you do not have insurance with one of the above companies, but have health insurance through another company, I am happy to assist you by providing a coded receipt that you may submit to your insurance company to seek out-of-network reimbursement. Many insurance companies have out-of-network benefits that reimburse a percentage of the session cost.

If you are interested in exploring your out-of-network benefits, please call your insurance company directly and ask them the following:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health insurance benefits? Some companies call these behavioral health benefits.
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Is teletherapy a covered service? (video sessions)

Therapy Fees –
when not using insurance

Initial intake session – $170
Individual therapy sessions – $150
(typically scheduled weekly or biweekly)

Reduced Fee

Reduced fee appointments are based on financial need and availability. I may or may not have availability for reduced fee appointments. Please contact me and ask.


Intake paperwork will be completed via a secure online client portal that will be emailed to you following the scheduling of your initial session. All forms must be completed before the initial session can occur. Initial paperwork will include a demographic form, an informed consent document, and privacy and practice policies disclosure forms.

Cancellation Policy

I value each of my clients and your time is reserved solely for you. Cancellation of your appointment is required at least 24 hours in advance, unless there is a medical or family emergency, so that I can help someone else at that time. Otherwise, you will be required to pay the agreed upon $100.00 late cancellation fee.
